It was only a matter of time before at least one of the castmates from The Jersey Shore wound up in rehab, considering that for the most part each episode consists of the beach bums drinking heavily and partying.
So it came as no great surprise when, recently, the leader of that pack, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, found himself admitted to a recovery program at Cirque Lodge in Utah. Although he definitely needed a break from drinking (and apparently prescription pills, which he is also addicted to), the Cirque Lodge has a strict dress code every patient much follow--no matter how famous his gut is.
TMZ is reporting that Cirque bans muscle shirts, sleeveless tops, ripped jeans, hats, sunglasses, and all clothing with obscene language. Unfortunately that sounds like every article of clothing The Situation has ever worn--when he wears clothes. Often it's no shirt at all, so he can show off his six-pack abs.
Still, we all understand that this is a serious and trying time for The Sitch, and if he needs to keep his namesack abs under wraps for a while, there are probably some Ed Hardy shirts available to do just that. Still, we hope to see them, er, him back in action some time soon.
