Sarah Silverman has always been the type of comedian who makes you cringe. But, she's also so funny, you just can't stop listening. And hearing her talk about personal grooming before a shower shared with actress Michelle Williams is definitely no exception.
"I overgroomed," she told media at the Tribeca Film Festival, includingThe Hollywood Reporter, about the morning before the full-frontal shower scene she shot with Michelle Williams for the upcoming film Take This Waltz.
"You know when you even and even and even until nothing's left? It was bad," Silverman continued, before going on to talk about some heavier issue, like same-sex marriage. She paraphrased the words of Newark New Jersey mayor Cory Booker while explaining her personal stance.
"He said, I wouldn't be where I am today -- meaning anything that is civil rights, because people don't always know what's best. Their fears keep them from being open and being fair."
Well said, Sarah (err, Mayor Booker)!
Catch Take This Waltz, which also stars Seth Rogen, when it hits theaters this summer.
