The Scissor Sisters have never shied away from...um...creative marketing strategies. In a novel way to plug their third album, Night Work, lead singer, Jake Shears, posted a fake ad on Rentboy.com, featuring nearly nude pics and clips from the album.
This time, to promote their new album Magic Hour, they've employed a tipsy Josh Homme, of Queens of the Stone Age fame, to hock it Time-Life style. Some of the album's tracks, like "Shady Love" and "Only the Horses" have already been released. ("Only the Horses" has even made our 25 Songs of Summer list.) With a track record like this, it's looking like Magic Hour is going to be a hit.
