The 'Rent' star is no fan of Mittens, evidently
Anthony Rapp, former star of the Broadway (and film) version of the musical Rent, has a bone to pick with Mitt Romney. The star of the Broadway musical (and subsequent film) Rent has come out against the Presidential hopeful, decrying his health care cuts and his firmly anti-gay beliefs.
"Mitt was governor of Massachusetts at a time when HIV/AIDS care was growing dramatically, so how was it that during his time as governor he saw a fourth consecutive year of cuts in funding for HIV/AIDS care?" Rapp asks/states in the video, which was made as a part of the MittGetsWorse project.
Rapp also points out that, while governor, Romney eliminated the LGBT Youth Commission, ending funding for programs that empowered young individuals to better themselves and their communities. He concludes the video by saying, "I'm convinced we are only headed towards darkness and going backwards decades of progress, if Mitt Romney is in the White House."
