Well there's that pesky Union Jack, but you can't hate on his patriotism
On Tuesday, Robbie Grabarz jumped 2.29 meters in the air, winning the Bronze medal for Great Britain and the hopes and dreams of Grabarz. So enthused was he with the victory that he awarded us all with this wonderful photo captioned "me and my medal," reports Metro UK (where Garbaz has regularly blogged!). The story claims Grabarz tweeted it out, but the tweet appears to have been deleted.
The athlete was reportedly ecstatic over his win and now dreams of a gold medal in Rio. He's known as "quite a character," and certainly loves to retweet pictures of the Olympic Banana.
It's possible his inspiriation for the medal photo came from this delightful press image, which was circulating before the Olympics began:
He also posted this on his Twitter:
Oh Robbie. Please never stop jumping.
