If you're watching Don't Trust the B-- in Apt. 23 (and if you're not, why?), you already know that James Van Der Beek will do anything for a laugh. In last night's episode of the ABC comedy the actor, who plays an exaggerated version of himself, became caught up in the excitement of being named People's Sexiest Man alive. Though it was all a ruse perpetrated by the mischievous title character (Krysten Ritter), the fake Van Der Beek was still required to partake in a photo shoot clad only in a shirt while riding a horse.
"I'm not going to lie," the onetime Dawson's Creek heartthrob tells People of the experience. "I've never ridden bareback on a horse, let alone without pants, so that was new."
Ritter discussed the scene with Access Hollywood, saying, "He said he smelled like horse down there for four days."
Apparently there are no regrets, as he adds, "One shower later, it all was good."
