After growing speculation surrounding the lifespan of CBS' Partners, the plug has officially been pulled. Despite high hopes with Will and Grace's David Kohan and Max Mutchnick at the helm and a lead-in from How I Met Your Mother, it's failed over the past few months to attract a dedicated Monday night audience. It pulled in an average of 6.5 million viewers.
The series was a semi-autobiographical comedy about Kohan and Mutchnick's friendship. It starred Out100 honoree Michael Urie, David Krumholtz, Sophia Bush and Brandon Routh. The series marks the second misstep for the creative duo, whose most recent series, $#*! My Dad Says, was also cancelled after its first season.
