TMZ has the scoop on Scott Evans alleged arrest for trying to buy an unknown type of illegal substance. The gossip site also reported that Evans responded to the arrest on his Facebook by posting: "Most ridiculous night of my life in LA so far. At least I made it a year before getting arrested."
According to the New York Daily News, he moved from his native Sudbury, Mass., to Los Angeles to jumpstart his career. Scott Evans was arrested at 6:15 p.m. and booked, according to the the LA County Sheriff's Department inmate sheet obtained by E! News. He was later released on $10,000 bail.
If you're not that aware of Scott, the 29-year-old has appeared on Guiding Light, Fringe, and White Collar. He also played a small role in the film Confessions of a Shopaholic. He may be best known to fans for playing Officer Oliver Fish on ABC's One Life To Live.
Before this salacious headline, the openly gay actor was making headlines when Fish got involved in a relationship with a man on the show and co-star Patricia Maucier walked off the set rather than be involved in the gay storyline.
You may also remember that Chris "Captain America" Evans outed his brother during a 2009 interview with The Advocate. In December that year, Scott discussed being a gay actor in Hollywood. We're unsure what sort of drug he was allegedly attempting to buy from the undercover cop, but we assume it must have been something more fun than a bag of pot.
Scott's currently filming the Selena Gomez vehicle Behaving Badly--no we didn't make this up.
