"I wanted to be a Boy Scout, but they wouldn't let me join. I think that's fucked up," Madonna began her speech last night, dressed as a Boy Scout. "I can build a fire. I know how to pitch a tent. I have a very good sense of direction. I can rescue kittens from trees. Listen, I want to do good for the community. And most importantly, I know how to scout for boys."
She was at the star-studded event last night in New York City to present the Vito Russo Award to Anderson Cooper.
She had at least one good use of alliteration--"If President Putin sat in a room with Pussy Riot..."--but then she began to ramble on (and on). But hey, watch it for yourself!
