Rhode Island will soon be the 10th state to have marriage equality.
1. The Rhode Island State Senate voted 26-12 to approve marriage equality for same-sex couples. It now will get some more tweaks in the State House and Gov. Lincoln Chafee will sign it and Rhode Island will be the 10th state to allow gay and lesbian couples the same marriage rights as their straight counterparts. Will Family Guy, the Fox cartoon that takes place in the fictional city of Quahog Rhode Island, have more to say about this?
