Award-winning singer-songwriter Bonnie McKee has written pop ditties for the likes of Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Ke$ha, and, well just about everyone. Now she's decided it's her turn for the spotlight. For "American Girl," which was released last week (and is available for free download), McKee asked her celeb pals for cameos of them singing her song in a very YouTube viral video vein. Hmmm. Marketing machine at work? Well, the video includes just about everyone it should, including gay faves Adam Lambert, George Takei, Macklemore, Lance Bass, Kathy Griffin, Katy Perry, and Joan Rivers.
