Actor and LGBT ally Cory Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on Saturday, July 13. Fellow Glee stars and celebirties have tweeted their sorrow and condolences to the 31-year-old's family, friends, and on and off-screen partner, Lea Michele.
Glee's executive producers made a statement on the show's Facebook page: "We are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Cory was an exceptional talent and an even more exceptional person. He was a true joy to work with and we will all miss him tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones."
Monteith, best known for his role as Finn Hudson, Glee's loveable quarterback and New Directions leader who was on his way to become a teacher for his love of music and helping others.
