JTF Was Backstage at Jinkx Monsoon's NYC Show

The RuPaul's Drag Race star made her NYC debut with the premiere of 'The Vaudevillians' a musical comedy costarring composer-musician Major Scales.

The Vaudevillians, a musical comedy starring Next Drag Superstar Jinkx Monsoon and composer-musician Major Scales, has become Off-Broadway's hottest ticket (well after Michael Urie in Buyer & Cellar, of course). The show has already been extended through Aug. 22.

In the hilarious show, the duo plays a pair of old-timey 1920s vaudeville stars thawed out after being buried in an Antarctic avalanche.

And who was recently there? Jesse Tyler Ferguson and fiance Justin Mikita, natch. JTF tweetedfrom the Laurie Beechman Theater: "We met @JinkxMonsoon in a tiny hot bathroom also known as 'backstage. It was amazing! Go see 'The Vaudvillians'!"

With that hair, Jinkx is totally making us feel Hedwig (of Angry Inch renown) and, we know NPH is slated to do that role on Broadway in 2014. But couldn't Jinkx try out for an understudy? Pretty please?
