Macklemore: 'Gay Rights Are Human Rights'

We've already shared Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert's performance of "Same Love" at the MTV VMAs last night, but here is video of the trio accepting a "best video with a social message" moon man statue for "Same Love."

"Gay rights are human rights; there is no separation," Macklemore says in the acceptance speech. The music video's win, he says, speaks to the amount of progress happening here in the United States.
