Adam Driver New Robin in Man Of Steel Sequel?
Holy crazy casting decisions, Batman! It seems that Adam Driver--a.k.a. Adam Sackler, Hannah Horvath's crazy hot and just plain crazy boyfriend on HBO's Girls--might be cast as Batman's sidekick in Batman Vs. Superman, the sequel to this year's Man of Steel film.
The NME reports that the Zach Snyder directed film will star Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader, who will have a complicated relationship with his former ward. Dick Grayson--or "The Sidekick Formerly Known as 'Robin'"--will go solo, taking on the moniker "Nightwing." Henry Cavill, the smoking hot Brit who donned the red cape and tights for Man of Steel, will play Superman in the sequel and Amy Adams will return as Lois Lane.
As for the film's villain, though nothing is confirmed, Moviefone reports that it will probably be Superman's archenemies, Lex Luthor. Hopefully this will answer the long debated question of who would win in a fight, Batman or Superman. If the film gives a definitive answer, it could quell millions of playground disputes.
At the time of writing, the film is scheduled to be released on July 17, 2015, and, not for nothing, but I am totally looking forward to seeing Driver, Affleck, and Cavill run around in Spandex.
