News of Jamie Dornan's casting as Christian Grey in the upcoming 50 Shades Of Grey film adaptation sent the media into a frenzy. The model-turned-actor came out of nowhere after Charlie Hunnam quit the film. The change in leading man worried many, even author E L James, about the future film and the role of Grey.
"It was disappointing, but it is what it is. I wish [Hunnam] well," James tellsEntertainment Weekly in the magazine's cover story. "And now we have Jamie [Dornan], and that's great. It's been interesting with Jamie, [the fan reaction] has been so positive."
Having the Golden Torso is proving to be a good thing. Thanks to EW's first look at Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele we can see why.
