WATCH: Rain Is Coming In New Trailer For Noah Starring Russell Crowe, Emma Watson
The first trailer for Noah is here. The filmed, directed by Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem For A Dream), tells the epic story of Noah's Ark. And I say epic because that's what this film is going to be -- lots of special effects, big names (Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins and Emma Watson), booming score (Clint Mansell, who did all Aronofsky's other films) and two of every animal.
However, this one is a bit of a headscratcher. Vulture reports that Paramount was not happy with the director's cut and then there are the fans. Will they love the new rough-n-tumble Noah, who takes on a warlord and saves God's creatures? Can Aronofsky continue his move to mainstream with a Bible flick? Will this movie go the way of other waterlogged films, like Kevin Costner's Waterworld? Watch the trailer and you be the judge:
Noah hits theaters March 28, 2014.
