Behind the Candelabra and Dallas Buyers Club were among the 71st annual Golden Globes' big winners. The two films took home major honors during the awards show co-hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
The duo kicked off the show with a killer monologue that included thanking gay fans for watching, a killer Clooney zinger ("Gravity, the story of how Clooney would rather float into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age.") and a nod to Lee Daniels' The Butler, which was regrettably shut out from this year's ceremony.
HBO's Liberace biopic, a frontrunner, won Best Miniseries or TV Movie and Best Actor in Miniseries or TV Movie for Michael Douglas. On the film side, Dallas Buyers Club stars Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey won Best Supporting Actor and Best Lead Actor (Drama) respectively. Leto's win all but secures an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. (Check out a complete list of winners.)
When the show was not busy handing out awards, celebs had some fun:
Chris Pine showed off his charming new beard. Emma Thompson gave zero fucks. Jennifer Lawrence photobombed Taylor Swift. Aaron Paul ended Breaking Bad's run with a "Yeah bitch" thank you speech. Amy Poehler took home Parks and Rec's biggest honor yet. And HBO released a new trailer for Game of Thrones season 4.
Meanwhile, former Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes won the Internet with an impersonation of Jennifer Lawrence's dress. The Golden Globes had the night's sexiest Instagram account thanks to photobooth selfies by Chris Pratt, Channing Tatum & more.
