HBO's Looking Renewed for Second Season

Varietyreports that Looking has been renewed for a second season. The news comes late in the game for the series as it approaches its final two episodes of the season.

Raul Castillo (Richie), Russell Tovey (Kevin) and Lauren Weedman (Doris) have been upped to series regulars. This ensures that the drama will continue between the two men in Patrick's world, while Doris will continue to serve as the show's main comic relief (and probably the most supportive roommate ever).

The renewal also comes as welcome news despite complaints that the show was "boring." While the series struggled in the ratings, it has picked up the past few episodes, no doubt, in partial thanks to the carry-over from Girls. Let's just hope the show doesn't go the way of Enlightened.
