Any job that entails removing a bottle from a fat man's anus seems ripe for situational comedy. Enter the new USA show Sirens (it premieres March 6), which mines this and other absurd EMT exploits for butt-clenching laughs.
Nothing is off limits in the Denis Leary-produced series: Severed limbs! Horse porn! Crashing gay weddings! The latter is perpetrated by the network's first gay lead character, Hank (Kevin Daniels), who wants to know if the man his ex is marrying is just a copy of him.
"One of our favorite things about shooting Sirens is you never know what kind of direction you're going to get," says Daniels, citing one scene for which he was given the note "Could you stand a little closer to the cock?" Sounds like a work perk we can get behind.
