WATCH: The Skeksis Return

Last week SyFy premiered a new reality competition show with the long, sorta clunky title Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge. Yes, it's a mouthful, but if you like FaceOff, you'll LOVE this. Hell, if you love anything muppet or puppet or weird or goofy, this show is a must-see. It takes talented designers of fabricators of fantasy creatures and pits them against one another so that they can win a spot working in the Henson Creature Shop in Los Angeles.

It all started off in the premiere episode with some drama among the creature makers, mainly geeky tempers flaring up as they couldn't figure out how to make underwater beings function, but we're even more excited for the second ep, "Return of the Skeksis," which takes the iconic Dark Crystal characters of the '80s and re-imagines them for a new generation.

The show has some cute contestants, by the way. Such as Robert Bennett.
