We Are the Brave, a new synth-pop duo hailing from Australia, has recently been building buzz in the States thanks to their mix of '80s pop and '90s trip-hop. They've been compared to everything from Florence Welch to Bat For Lashes and MS MR.
This week, the group released a remix EP of their infectious song, "Sparrow." Dance floor mavens tapped to remix the song include The Dualists, Culture Fires, Nightriders, Gnome, and Rich Morel, who has remixed everyone from Yoko Ono to Mariah Carey.
The DJ is also famous for Blowoff, the monthly dance event that he started with Bob Mould over a decade ago. This year, the two announced that their January event would be their last so they could focus on other projects.
For Morel, that's exposing the masses to We Are the Brave with the Hot Sauce Mix of "Sparrow" premiering exclusively on Out.com.
Sparrow (The Remixes) EP is out now.
