Maya Rudolph: SNL MVP, Bridesmaids star, and now variety show host. Though the format went out with leisure suits, pet rocks, and American manufacturing, NBC is trying to revive it. (This kind of sounds like a Jack Donaghy idea, right?)
While dusting off the variety show format is kind of a crapshoot, NBC's frontloaded The Maya Rudolph Show with a coterie of guest stars including Chris Parnell, Kristen Bell, Fred Armisen, Sean Hayes, and Andy Samberg.
Break a leg, Maya.
