In the wake of Elevator-Fight-Gate (so I'm not good at those, big deal), Solange has deleted nearly all photos of her sister Beyonce from her Instagram. On May 5 at a Met Gala after party at New York's Standard Hotel, Solange attacked her brother-in-law, Jay Z, in an elevator.
The footage of the skirmish hit the internet yesterday and clearly the ramifications have been...mixed.
Solange has deleted all photos of Beyonce from her Instagram account, save for the above photo. Though that might seem like the start of a family feud, the New York Daily News (who, in a rare occurrence, came up with the exact-same headline as their rival the New York Post when reporting the story this morning) reports that the sisters both jetted down to Costa Rica this weekend to attend the wedding of Destiny's Child band member Kelly Rowland.
The Daily News also reports that Solange didn't just go off on Jay Z. Apparently, she verbally assaulted designer Rachel Roy at the after party held at The Standard's chic Boom Boom Room nightclub.
Update: Upon searching Beyonce's Instagram, we found this posted days after the fight.
Titled "My Prayer to God," it reads: "Lord, I lift up every one of my relationships to You and ask You to bless them. I pray that each one would be glorifying to You. Help me to choose my friends wisely so I won't be led astray. Give me discernment and strength to separate myself from anyone who is not a good influence. I release all my relationships to You and pray that Your will be done in each one of them."
