Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald Join Jem and the Holograms

Following the news that Jon M. Chu was developing a live action movie adaptation of the popular cartoon, Jem and the Holograms, the cast is taking shape.

The Hollywood Reporterreports that both Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald have joined the movie. Both actress have signed up for unspecified roles. With the Holograms already cast that leaves a few characters for the two older actresses to play. Aristocratic fashion designer Countess Danielle Du Voisin seems like a good fit for Ringwald while Lewis has the look of Synergy.

Ringwald and Lewis join the previously announced cast, which includes Aubrey Peeples (Nashville) as Jem while Stefanie Scott (A.N.T. Farm), Aurora Perrineau (Pretty Little Liars) and Hayley Kiyoko (The Fosters) as the Holograms. Hottie Ryan Guzman (Step Up Revolution) will play Jem's love interest.

This film is turning out to be totally outrageous!
