Throwback Thursday: Christopher Meloni Is a Seducer of Oz

In 2000, Christopher Meloni was pulling double duty on TV. Fresh off his first season as Dr. Elliot Stabler on NBC's Law & Order: SVU, Meloni was also making headlines as Chris Keller, an equal-opportunity seducer on HBO's prison drama Oz.

"He uses his penis as a weapon. Female, male, it's irrelevant. It's just a way of getting what he wants," Meloni said of Keller in the June 2000 issue. A modern-day beefcake, the actor was winning over gay fans for a role that balanced intense rivalries with tender moments and plenty of sexual tension.

And like now -- when he went on Conan to admit that gay men loving checking him out at the gym -- Meloni knew back then what was a major part of his appeal: his ass.

Since his early days of working at the Body Center, a gay gym, the actor has learned firsthand of his assets, knowing exaclty what certain men appreciate about his physique.

"My ass or my eyes. My smile. Or my ass."
