Will NPH Join the AHS: Freak Show Cast?

As if the cast of American Horror Story: Freak Show weren't star studded enough, Neil Patrick Harris has expressed interest in joining the show. Harris went on EW Radio and expressed his love for variety shows and freak shows to host Mario Correa. Harris told Correa that he actually wrote AHS showrunner Ryan Murphy a letter asking for a part in the new season, but that Murphy hadn't responded.

After the segment aired, Murphy tweeted Neil saying that he's got a role that Harris would be perfect for, if he wants it. While this is all well and good, Vulture points out that NPH plays Hedwig on Broadway until August 17, so the timing might not work out in the end.
