As audiences prepare for Emma Stone in the critically touted Birdman film this week, we're eating her up as the slightly damaged singer Sally Bowles (available at EWfor the moment) as she prepares to take over the Cabaret role next month from Michelle Williams (who departs Nov. 9).
Last night on The Tonight Show, Stone talked about her lifelong dream to play the cabaret singer. "I saw it in New York for the first time with Alan as the Emcee when I was 9 years old, which is the most inappropriate show to take a nine-year-old to," Stone told Fallon. "Do not bring a child!"
Stone is set to stay in the role (along with Alan Cumming) through Feb. 15, so get your tickets now.
