Sean Hayes Engaged to Partner Scott Icenogle

All it takes for marriage speculation these days is a visible ring during your appearance on Ellen -- at least for Emmy Award-winning actors.

Sean Hayes, best known for his Emmy-winning portrayal of Jack McFarland on Will & Grace, is engaged to composer and music writer Scott Icenogle. He revealed the news while chatting with DeGeneres during a visit to her daytime talk show.

Hayes and Icenogle have been together roughly eight years.

While the news of the engagement was just confirmed by Hayes' PR team, it's actually old news. The couple revealed to People magazine that they have "been engaged for quite some time." While not a secret, certainly a surprise to many.

In addition to his current role on The Millers with Will Arnett, Hayes has kept himself busy behind the scenes. After Will & Grace ended its eight-season run, Hayes began producing with Todd Milliner -- their production company is responsible for Hollywood Game Night, Grimm, and Hot in Cleveland -- spent some time on Broadway, and even won another Emmy when he hosted the Tony Awards in 2010.
