2. More than 100,000 people have signed a petition asking TLC to cancel 19 Kids and Counting. The controversy erupted after the show's matriarch, Michelle Duggar, was featured spreading anti-trans sentiment in an automated call asking residents of Fayetteville, Ark. to vote against an anti-discrimination ordinance which would expand protections for gay and trans citizens. Sherlock's co-creator, Mark Gatiss, has hinted at dark times ahead for the famous detective, urging fans to "always expect tragedy as well as adventure," Martin Freeman, who plays Watson, also foreshadowed an upcoming death based on events from the Arthur Conan Doyle series upon which the show is based.
