Kate Pierson Collaborated With Sia On Her First Solo Album

The B52s member teamed up with Fred Armisen for the video for 'Mister Sister'

Just because Kate Pierson's releasing a solo album, doesn't mean she's going it alone. Guitars and Microphones, Pierson's first attempt going it alone was executive produced by Sia--with whom Pierson also collaborated on the songwriting. Tim Anderson, who produced Banks' debut album, Goddess, produced the LP and the Strokes' Nick Valensi features.

"Mister Sister," the album's first single is not only an ode to the power of transformation, is an encouragement to live how one pleases, without behind hemmed in by the boundaries of gender. And yeah, that's Fred Armisen, the Portlandia guy. We've got the video and tracklist below.
