Andrew Rannells Disses, Disrobes in Deleted Girls Scene
We're not sure why this scene from Girls didn't make the Season 3 cut, but we're pretty happy HBO released it anyway. The funny, controversial comedy will premiere its fourth season Sunday, January 11, so consider this Hannah/Elijah shopping excursion a snack to hold you over.
Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Elijah (Andrew Rannells) peruse a NYC clothing store (probably some place in Chelsea or Hell's Kitchen, right?) in search of a gift for Hannah's boyfriend, Adam. While the scene lists the various drawbacks of attending a graduate creative writing program, it's mostly a showcase for Andrew Rannells' quick wit and comedic timing. Oh, and his legs.
According to Elijah, Hannah will be "panicking because [she's] late with [her] thesis project of short stories told from the perspective of a poor person's vagina." A little harsh, maybe?
But then Andrew Rannell's disrobes in a see-through glass-walled room and redeems himself. So, get in loser, we're going shopping.
