Michael Sam Gets Engaged to Boyfriend

According to Page Six, the NFL's first openly gay player and his longtime boyfriend, Vito Cammisano, are engaged. Sources say it happened while the couple was vacationing in Italy.

The pair met while at the University of Missouri and though it wasn't exactly love at first sight, their relationship blossomed over the years. It was their kiss during the NFL draft that threw right-wingers into a tizzy.

Sam and Cammisano have been in Europe since December 30. They rang in the New Year in Spain and then went to Italy. Michael spent a good deal of Wednesday, which was his 25th birthday, at Vatican City. We've got some more of their holiday snaps below.
