It's not every day that someone walks into a bridal boutique looking for a dress for a 6-foot-3 bride. But when the engaged couple is Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson, there better be some big and tall's on standby.
After getting engaged last year, the WNBA power-couple is moving forward with their wedding plans, and that means choosing a dress. In the first of this week's back-to-back episodes of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress, Griner, who plays for the Phoenix Mercury, and Johnson, who plays for the Tulsa Shock, go shopping with friends and family to find the perfect gown for Johnson on their big day.
Lori Allen, the bridal boutique owner, admitted that she didn't think the couple would go for the classic look. "I'm thinking maybe a pants suit," she said. "Boy was I wrong. Ultimately Glory was very traditional and was only interested in pleasing Brittney - like most other brides."

The couple's episode of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta will air on TLC Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
