Video: Agyness Deyn for Starwood Hotels

The fashion industry has been on the forefront of plugging their products via short films. Designers and labels have found that it's an easy and fun way to spread the word on the latest wares, all the while retaining control of the final outcome. Personally, though, I haven't seen much from the world of luxury accommodations (correct me if I'm wrong). But today Out Traveler noted that Starwood Hotels has brought together a bevy of stylish heavyweights to promote their brand. The 15-minute video (see below) stars supermodel Agyness Deyn, is directed by Luca Guadagnino (most known for his elegant Jil Sander-heavy film I Am Love, starring one of my faves, Tilda Swinton), and was produced by accessory designer Waris Ahluwalia. It's all sorts of romantic, and Deyn is bringing on some major fashion moments--including some icy Hitcockian flair. Sure, Guadagnino really lays on the fact that our heroine is gallivanting around the country to loaf about Starwood's Luxury Collection properties, but I sure as hell would too, given the chance.
