In line with its classic American roots, Polo Ralph Lauren's new collection pays homage to a simpler time with heritage tartan patterns. But, true to form, the quintessential luxury brand has added a twist to keep things fresh and exciting. This season's knitwear features an infusion of color and bright plaids, which all pop beautifully against black shades. It's a dynamic mix that can be easily dressed up with a dark blazer, or down with some denim jeans -- the perfect wardrobe additions just in time for the holiday season.

To offset the diminishing daylight and deepening chill, the company has released a holiday-inspired video which takes heart-warming to a new level. From sporty parkas and down outerwear to patterned scarves and sweaters, the new holiday delivery blends the timelessness of Polo with cutting-edge styling and colors. The season's all about family, tradition, staying cozy and, as photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber captured so naturally, holiday songs spontaneously performed on vintage pianos.
