Fifteen years on, the ludicrous fashion satire Zoolander still holds it own, and we can't wait to see the sequel. While the first movie's sweatshop subplot hasn't lost an ounce of relevance, today there's even more to tackle for Derek and Hansel, our dumb AF supermodels. Imagine them still trying to make it in an industry where social media and shirtless selfies rule, and millions of dollars are spent on making "viral" runway shows. There's just so much to cover, and we're so here for it!
Beyond the farce, the cast of Zoolander 2 really proved that they can add substance to their style at the film's New York City premiere. In addition to sporting flawless tuxedos, lead actors Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Farrell, and Justin Theroux all made red-carpet appearances in and out of character, showcasing some hot couture in the process.
Newcomers Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, and Naomi Campbell (who has a cameo in the film) also sported ravishing gowns.
Special mention to Fred Armisen, who had Anna Wintour as his +1 (or was it the other way around?), looking very Vogue-worthy next to the editrix-in-chief, and proud Mama Susan Sarandon, who came to support her son and this very Blue Steel fashion statement. We're not bulimic, but we predict a huge opening weekend for this one.
