Willow Smith is the latest ambassadress for Chanel, and the first woman of color to represent the French couture house.
In the past, the likes of Kristen Stewart, Lily Rose Depp, and Blake Lively have represented Chanel. Smith announced the creative partnership in an Instagram post, with an aloof Karl Lagerfeld on her arm:
In January, Willow's big brother Jaden made a big splash when he donned women's wear as a model for Louis Vuitton's Spring 2016 collection. Always a fan of skirts and dresses, including the one he wore to Amandla Stenberg's prom, Jaden was praised for opening a debate on gender fluidity in luxury fashion campaigns.

Always the supportive sister, Willow congratulated Jaden, writing an inspired Instagram post at the time:
"Males and females are put into boxes of expectation when we are born. As we grow we start to realize the damages that those expectations cause to our spiritual and emotional understanding of ourselves and life. The more we start to realize that we are all the same and infinitely different at the same time, the more we begin to shed those expectations and live free to continue to uplift the essence of Earth."
If Willow's latest posts (@gweelos) are any indication of the campaign to come, we have much to be look forward to:
