British fashion designer Elliot Joseph Rentz is young, exceedingly talented, and endlessly ambitious. His womenswear collections--particular his handcrafted bodices--have attracted international attention and praise from the likes of David LaChapelle, Lady Gaga, and stylist B. Akerlund.

From the beginning, Rentz has taken a multimedia approach to his work, and he's regularly incorporated masks into his runway presentations. His latest collection of masks are truly striking, perhaps all the more so for the very familiar face they're inspired by: Angelina Jolie.
"I've designed masks over the years with every collection I've created," the designer says, "and after a handful of musicians and publications using them, it's become a frequent request to produce something that was affordable and available for the public to purchase. I have a small personal collection of life casts which I have received from Hollywood special effect companies, from Sharon Stone, Michelle Pfeiffer to Angelina Jolie."
So why pick Jolie over the other stars?
"I thought who would be the perfect face to work on, and of course it doesn't get any more perfect than Jolie."
