The filmmaker extraordinaire covers Fantastic Man's anniversary issue.
The men's style bible hailing from Amsterdam, Fantastic Man is celebrating 10 years in print this summer. For the occasion, the magazine features filmmaker Pedro Almodovar on its cover.
We hadn't seen Almodovar in a mainstream publication since Out's Hot List 2013 shoot. Here, the director and screenwriter of All About My Mother and I'm So Excited! appears in an editorial photographed by Alasdair McLellan.
Almodovar talks about Julieta, his latest movie, which opened in Spain on April 8th and will be in competition at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
Created by the editors of Butt magazine, Fantastic Man has a long tradition of featuring gay and queer artists in its pages, starting with its inaugural cover boy, Mr. Rupert Everett, back in 2006.
The new issue of Fantastic Man is out now in Europe, and should be shipping worlwide as you read these lines. Keep an eye out for it!
