Lily-Rose Depp is the Face of Chanel's New Fragrance

Since Chanel's freshest fragrance demands Hollywood's freshest face, it came as no surprise that the fashion and beauty house chose Lily-Rose Depp to rep its newest fragrance, No. 5 L'Eau.

The 16-year-old actress and daughter of Johnny Depp will model in advertisements for the new take on the classic Chanel No. 5 fragrance, which is expected to launch in the fall, according to WWD.

Depp announced the news via her Instagram, with the caption, "I'm so excited to announce that I am the face of the new Chanel Number 5 L'EAU!"

Chanel also released a statement saying that the actress "embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the house her youthful freshness and beauty."

Depp is following in the footsteps of her mother, Vanessa Paradis, who has been a Chanel ambassador since the '90s, beginning with her promotion of the Coco Chanel fragrance. It seems like looking good--and smelling great--runs in the family.
