Model Watch: Hari Nef Is the New Face of Mansur Gavriel Â
Nef is the first high-profile model to appear in one of their campaigns.Â
Minimalist handbag and shoe brand Mansur Gavriel has cast trans model Hari Nef as the face of their latest campaign.
Nef has a become well-known personality in the trans community as an activist and actress on the Golden Globe award-wining series, Transparent. She was the first transgender model to be signed for worldwide representation with IMG, and has walked runway shows for the likes of Hood By Air, H&M, and Gucci.

Now Mansur Gavriel, a brand known for its no-frills designs and campaigns, has cast Nef as the first najor model to appear in one of their campaigns.
"We think Hari is very beautiful, and we're excited to shoot her," designers Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel commented. "She is real and has great energy."
The campaign was shot by photographer sisters Tanya and Zhenya Posternak, and will go live in mid-June.
