The strict world of US political men’s fashion is all about confidence and the right tie.
Since John F. Kennedy, presidential fashion hasn't been terribly exciting. Most world leaders think they can't afford to distract people from their message by flaunting flashy floral suits or designer shoes. But Barack Obama has had two terms to perfect his look, and even if his taste tan outfits is debatable, his suit game has been strong since his first inauguration.
At the Democratic National Convention, where Obama confirmed his support for Hillary Clinton as our next president, POTUS went with a powder blue tie, and a tailored suit that would put all his opponents to shame.
Time and time again, our ally and president has proven that confidence is the real wardrobe staple, and everything else is accessory. We will miss you, Barry.
