These shades come from a collaboration between architect Rafael de Cárdenas and eyewear brand Gentle Monster.
Take a look at Vision Quest, the product of a new collaboration between architect Rafael de Cardenas and Korean eyewear label Gentle Monster. The layered, wiry specs and their reflective lenses offer the perfect amount of retro LA cool mixed with bookish charm.
Cardenas is known for his cinematic approach to design, and his optic creation invokes visual references to Junior Gaultier, The Hunger, and the Miami skyline.
Gentle Monster was founded in 2011 in Seoul, Korea, and has quickly become the fastest growing eyewear brand in Asia. They collaborated with several of the hippest brands in America for the Spring 2016 runways, including Hood By Air and Opening Ceremony.
The shades are available now in Gentle Monster's Soho location, as well as online, for a retail price of $290.
