Virgil Abloh will honor the style icon 20 years since her death.
Princess Diana will have a clothing collection modeled after her own iconic style.
It's been 20 years since Diana's death, and Virgil Abloh announced through Instagram that the Princess of Wales is serving as inspiration for his spring '18 Off-White collection. The post shows a moodboard with Diana in varying stages of life, including motherhood, her youth, and in more casual looks. "One woman, 40 Off-White looks in the works come September," Abloh wrote in the caption.

This isn't the first time Diana's style has been highlighted in recent years, but it is the first modern collection to be based off the Princess. There is currently the Diana: Her Fashion Story exhibit in Kensington Palace, along with the documentary Diana: Designing a Princess.
Abloh has worked with Kanye West, Heron Preston, Ikea, Nike, as well as Jenny Holzer, and clearly has a keen eye as to what should come next.
