Thanks to creative director Stuart Vevers' rock 'n' roll rebelliousness.
When British designer Stuart Vevers took over as executive creative director of Coach in 2013, his aim was to move the brand beyond the world of accessories and transform it into a full-fledged ready-to-wear powerhouse. Since then, he's injected a sense of rock 'n' roll rebelliousness into the brand, which had been known mostly for its logo-emblazoned handbags. Now, four years later, the label is proving just how far it's come with its Icons collection, a new line consisting of six signature outerwear styles, including a military-inspired M65, a hefty shearling coat, a sporty varsity jacket, and a weather-resistant parka. Each look is unisex, crafted from premium materials (buttery leathers, lightweight cottons), tricked out with details that are both chic and functional, and offered year-round, with periodic updates to reflect each season. What won't change: the fact that every piece is an instant classic.
