Chromat Brings Fabulous Swimwear & Inclusive Casting to NYFW

Chromat's spring '18 show this NYFW saw a diverse cast of all shapes, ages, races, gender identities and sizes grace the runway, further cementing the brand as a leader in inclusive, socially-conscious (and impeccably designed) fashion.

Women walked the runway in swim and athleticwear that included denim crop tops, crystal-covered G-strings and gold, puffy foil sleeves. The feeling in the air was electric, as always--each model triggered a response of overwhelming awe as she strutted the catwalk, while the gorgeous howling of Suzi Analogue composed an ethereal soundtrack over the whole scene.

Every seated audience member received an exclusive zine created in collaboration with Chromat's mastermind, Becca McCharen-Tran, and her collection of influencer models. Among those featured this season were the gorgeous trans Filipino model Leyna Bloom, who opened the show, and Maya Mones, pictured above, who closed the show in a shiny golden skirt-dress.
