Vivienne Westwood & A New Generation of Punks Grace Cover of 'Dazed'
Vivienne Westwood is joined by a new generation of activists, advocates, rebels, and punks on the cover of Dazed Summer 2018. The fashion legend is surrounded by most entirely all her own clothes.
"I'm a punk because I'm a fighter. I can't help it," she explains in the new issue, the whole interview of which you can read here.
Westwood has long been an advocate of, among other causes, sustainable fashion, and working to save the planet before it is too late. Aside from discussing her plans for a new economic system to save the world, Westwood mentions how rich her life has grown with age:
"It's not true, this old idea that Malcolm (McLaren) and other people used to have, that somehow when you're young you're full of fire and rebellion and enthusiasm, and when you get old you just become useless," she says. "No, the opposite is true. The older you get, (the more) your life becomes richer. It's incredible."
