"We're seeking to crystallize a microcosmic alternative to the status quo," says Alex Jolicoeur, one of three founders of Black Charmed, the artist collective behind the "radically queer" party by "Ostbahnhof." The party started with a motivation to plant the glitter-crusted seed of Berlin's nightlife into the evenings (and early mornings) of gay Los Angeles.
