Watch out 'Project Runway,' there’s a new fashion competition with a million dollar award that's coming for your neck.

For those of us thirsting for the duo that is Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, you're in luck: the pair is back and ready to work. Come 2020 Heidi and Tim will team up with some pretty iconic names in fashion to put on a whole new show.

After buildingProject Runway into a long-running fashion competition show that spawned Christian Siriano (who has decisively become the series's best success story), Heidi and Tim have teamed up with Amazon to beat a new path. The pair have traveled to Paris and now Tokyo, filming Making the Cut, a new show featuring 12 up and coming designers and entrepreneurs competing for $1 million. Yeah, we're talking big business.

To make the decision though, Amazon and the team have brought in true high-fashion names as judges. Among them are Naomi Campbell -- we would explain who she is but ... you know who she is -- Carine Roitfeld, former editor of Vogue Paris and Harper's Bazaar, and Joseph Altuzarra, designer of his own high fashion brand Altuzarra. This week they've also added blogger and model Chiara Ferragni, who has become a brand in and of herself.

It'll be interesting to see how the show fares. Few televised fashion competitions ever have any winners that have a lasting career in fashion. Christian Siriano is the most obvious exception to the rule on Project Runway, having built a longstanding and respected career as a designer, as he returns to the show to replace Gunn. But otherwise the success stories are few and far between: Isis King and others from America's Next Top Model have found success but mostly in Hollywood.

But the names involved here, and the sheer amount of money going to the winner sounds like this could change things.
